A free morning of public awareness talks on caring for the older person, held for International Day of Older Persons 2026. Ten talks by UMMC consultants, nurses and the multidisciplinary team.

Topics include dementia and mild cognitive impairment, vaccination, oral hygiene, physiotherapy for sarcopenia and frailty, maintaining independence in daily activities, safe use of over-the-counter medicines, personal care for the dependent older person, nutrition, safe swallowing, and support for carers.
